Real Estate Download – First Meetup

In the last year or two of attending BuzzRE events, REBarCamps, and most recently speaking at Inman’s Agent Reboot, I have come away with the overwhelming sense that for many attendees, these events serve to inspire and create an interest, but fail to take the agent into the place of consistent execution.  It’s not that the event themselves are not effective, but the topics are so broad and vast, it requires more than a day or two of discussion. And for many, it seems to be information overload, and many leave somewhat bewildered.

In talking to my friend at YourLocalTech.com, Loren Nason, we really became interested in finding ways to continue the conversation with those in the local real estate market.   We decided to create a local Mastermind environment, a place to collaborate with others in the industry that would like to learn more, share ideas with like-minded individuals, and connect with those interested in elevating their real estate practice to better serve their clients, and potential clients, utilizing technology and social media.

Real Estate Download is the result of that conversation.  Our first meeting takes place tomorrow at 9:00am at the Panera Bread in Aliso Viejo. They have free wifi and we’ll meet out at the front tables.  The address is 26541 Aliso Creek Road.

Anyone interested, is welcome to join.  The initial meeting will likely be small so that we can share some ideas about the direction of the group.  Please feel free to join the Meetup site to be notified of future meetings.  If you know of others that might be interested, I’d encourage you to pass the word on.
